Calderdale Hike was a great day out on Saturday the 9th April as part of the uk ultra running championship www.runfurther.com/home-c-641.html
The race starting from Sowerby Bridge the run was over the Pennines in the first of the summer sun . Much of it over heathland and cross country 37 miles most of the time I had to follow others my navigation skills are not up to much and got lost a couple of times disappointing but a final finish time of around 6.36 I was pleased with race met up with Chris Webb who gave me some advise for my Grand Union Canal attempt (and also the photo ) rest this week before London Marathon on Sunday then next race is Highland Fling
