on route to Fort McPherson

Last update was received from Phil at 1.15am after he returned from a patrol:-
Richard was about 39km from the check point at Fort McPherson, the end of the 120 mile race, hunkered down in his bivvy. Woke up just in time to see the incredible Northern Lights go over. 4 of the athletes are fairly close together now so should be good to have some company.
Richard was in good spirits - checking on the beacon now it looks like he may be taking a break around 15km from the check point. The next check point is at the Gwich'in First Nations band office and should allow for some quality rest.
