Saturday 14th April 2012 Calderdale hike a race that I found tough last year , it was great to travel with Rich Heath & Nick Holt even if i was worried about Rich Heath beating me something he capable of doing very soon .
Calderdale hike is a 37 mile race that is a navigation excersise a new route this year meant plotting route on map so as to attempt to follow .Anybody who knows me may know that my race navigation skills are not brilliant ! , It was nice to see so many familiar faces at the start .
The route its self took in a lot of the route from the Haworth Hobble the month before so became familiar in places ran most of route with Simon Deakin who was great company and cheery dispute us going of course a number of times !!A really enjoyable day out for all of us with finish times

Nick Holt 7.53 58th place
Me 6.32 10th place
